EXPLORE THE INFINITE FLOW AND HANDS HEALING
INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS
Craniosacral Hands Touch
Hands carry the love from the heart. Hands receive. Hands give. This is flow. After being in teaching yoga for 11 and practicing for 15 years, saw that the most important task as a yoga teacher and healer is to support a person’s emotional and physical flow to uncover their innate ability to heal. I found that the model I was working with was insufficient, so to accomplish this I began working with talented teachers and studying various bodywork and energy work modalities. As a result, now I work with my hands intuitively, utilizing bodywork which is tailored for each client in each individual session. I work from a place of knowing that for a person to be in harmony they must be aligned in body, mind, heart, and spirit. My hands are especially gifted in the slow work of guiding through trauma and assisting the will in moving through blocked places. I gravitate towards working with emotional injuries that result in physical restriction and disease, and with opening the upper and lower diaphragms: the pelvic floor and the mouth/jaw/sphenoid bone. I bring this work forward with love, connection, and humor in each session.
Thai Structural Bodywork
I offer a Thai yoga bodywork based on the work of Kam Thyne Chow. This is a yoga therapy variant that incorporates rhythmic massage, assisted yoga postures, acupressure along energy lines known as "Sen," energy healing, and meditation. supports movement through the core by taking your body through a series of opening up and releasing layers in a. This is a sequence of yoga posters that is important in gaining physical/emotional stability, finding and using your breath, knowing inner strength and trust, having a soft heart and a strong back, and most importantly it supports moving through the center of the body where heart and mind and spirit are aligned. I recommend this series to most of my yoga practitioners and clients as it will address long term muscoluskeletal pain, restricted range of motion, repetitive use injuries, and emotional injury that may be involved in postural and movement restrictions. I generally modify the sequence as needed and add in variational Tibetan bowl, organ manipulation, craniosacral therapy, and specific diaphragm work (in most pelvic work) as indicated. It is conducted on a floor mat with the recipient fully clothed. This work accomplished well in a sequence of meeting every other week.
Recently, I booked another session, concentrating on alleviating tension in my legs, lower back, and the shoulder/neck region. The relief I experienced afterwards was remarkable. I trust Isa can offer you the same benefits.
The session left me feeling incredibly rested and released.
